Pre-Workshop Survey

We are happy that you have decided to participate in this NSF-sponsored workshop “Research-based Chemistry Teaching for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scientists”.  Before responding here, you should have already registered for the workshop at this URL:   www.pogil.org/events/pennsylvania-state-university?key=45b612
The purpose of this survey is to help the workshop facilitators (Chris Bauer, Dan Libby) understand your background and professional goals in order to help you get the most out of the experience. It will take about  20 to 30 minutes to complete.
Because we (and NSF) are interested in how the workshop may support or advance your professional interests and goals, the information you provide will contribute to a study of the value of events like this (overseen by Maureen Scharberg, Prof. of Chemistry, San Jose State University). You will be given the opportunity to consent to allowing your responses to be included in the “study” on the day of the workshop. Otherwise, your information is anonymous and only meant to inform the workshop instructors.
If you have technical difficulties with the survey, please contact Prof. Chris Bauer (chris.bauer@unh.edu).
